Karachi: Qatar Emiri Naval Ship (QENS) ALKHOR arrived in Karachi, receiving a warm welcome from Pakistan Navy officers and sailors upon its docking.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer of QENS ALKHOR paid homage at Mazar-e-Quaid and later called on Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Faisal Abbasi. In their meeting, the Qatari officer appreciated Pakistan Navy’s role in promoting regional peace and security. Discussions also focused on matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance bilateral naval cooperation.
The Qatari naval ship will participate in the joint exercise Asad Al Bahr, alongside bilateral training sessions and discussions with Pakistan Navy counterparts during its stay in Karachi.
The visit underscores the strong defense and diplomatic ties between Qatar and Pakistan, further enhancing opportunities for collaboration in regional maritime security and cooperation.
