Riyadh: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, attended the Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting held at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh today, delivering a forceful address on the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. Dar denounced Israel’s recent actions, categorizing them as war crimes and crimes against humanity, and called for Israel’s accountability before the global community.
The Deputy Prime Minister further expressed deep concern over Israel’s continued military operations, stating that these actions are intensifying instability and risking peace across the Middle East. He emphasized that Israeli policies not only violate international law but also fuel wider regional tensions, demanding an urgent response to prevent further escalation.
Dar also praised the efforts of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League, commending their steadfast commitment to defending the rights of the Palestinian people. He called on the international community to take concrete action to end the genocide in Gaza, urging a unified stand to uphold peace and justice in the region.
