Islamabad :The celebration of Pakistan and Denmark’s 75 years of diplomatic relations marked a significant milestone in their partnership, highlighting mutual goals in sustainability and economic growth. The event, themed “75 Years of Greener Together,” was hosted by Danish Ambassador to Pakistan Jakob Linulf, who welcomed distinguished guests and dignitaries.
Among the participants were Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Denmark’s State Secretary Lisbet Zilmer-Jones, and senior officials from both countries, all underscoring the importance of continued collaboration in green development. The gathering symbolized the shared commitment to tackling global challenges, particularly climate change, through joint efforts.
Federal Minister Aurangzeb emphasized the strength of Pakistan-Denmark relations and the critical role of such diplomatic milestones in fostering mutual respect and cooperation. A unique feature of the celebration was the transformation of the Danish residence into an art gallery, displaying climate-focused artworks by 33 Pakistani artists. This creative showcase illustrated the countries’ shared environmental vision and underscored the power of cultural diplomacy in promoting climate awareness.
