The United States has agreed to help Pakistan modernize its Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) along the lines of the FBI.
The National Forensic Agency will also receive US support to enhance its capabilities with advanced technology.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the urgent need for modern equipment to strengthen Civil Armed Forces.
He clarified that while no documented foreign nationals will be expelled, illegal residents will not be allowed to stay.
