PM Shehbaz Sharif Leaves for UAE to Attend World Governments Summit

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif embarked on a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday to attend the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai. The visit comes at the invitation of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. A high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif, Ahad Khan Cheema, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to PM Syed Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the prime minister.

During his stay, Shehbaz Sharif will hold bilateral meetings with the UAE leadership and interact with heads of state and government from participating countries. He is also scheduled to meet members of the Pakistani community, business leaders, and investors to explore avenues for economic cooperation and trade.

This marks the prime minister’s second visit to the UAE since assuming office. The trip is expected to further strengthen Pakistan-UAE relations and enhance collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, and governance.
