Pakistan Enhances Digital Diplomacy with Online Visa App for 120 Countries

Islamabad: Pakistan launched an online visa application for travelers from 120 countries, aiming to facilitate international arrivals and boost tourism and business opportunities.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has developed the Pak-ID app, which streamlines the visa on arrival process. The app offers features such as digital documentation submission and online fee payment, ensuring a hassle-free experience for applicants.

According to NADRA officials, this initiative aligns with Pakistan’s commitment to e-governance and digital transformation, making it easier for foreign nationals to obtain business and tourist visas. The move is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s global connectivity and foster international engagements through digital diplomacy.
