Economic Diplomacy: PM Invites Bahraini Investors to Pakistan
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has invited Bahraini investors to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, emphasizing the role of Economic Diplomacy in strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties.
He was talking to an eleven-member parliamentary delegation of Bahrain, led by Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam. He also underscored the need to enhance trade volume between the two countries through Economic Diplomacy and strategic partnerships.
He said the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are deeply rooted in common faith, history, and culture, but Economic Diplomacy remains a key pillar in furthering cooperation in trade and investment.
The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of parliamentary delegation exchanges in fostering greater people-to-people contacts, terming it crucial for enhancing mutual collaboration through diplomatic and economic engagements.
He also acknowledged the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain, noting their role in advancing Economic Diplomacy by strengthening economic and social linkages between the two nations.
Commenting on the situation in Gaza, Shehbaz Sharif called on the Muslim Ummah to accelerate their efforts to provide assistance to the brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine.
