Karachi: A Russian Navy Flotilla, comprising two frigates and a medium sea tanker, has arrived in Karachi for a goodwill visit. The visiting warships were accorded a warm welcome at the Karachi port, reflecting the friendly ties between the two navies.
During the port call, Russian naval personnel will engage in professional discussions with the Pakistan Navy to exchange expertise and enhance operational coordination. The visit will also feature joint naval exercises aimed at strengthening interoperability and maritime cooperation.
The goodwill visit marks a significant step in fostering maritime diplomacy and defence collaboration between Pakistan and Russia. The engagements at sea and onshore are expected to reinforce regional security efforts and deepen strategic ties between the two nations.
