Islamabad: Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar held a meeting on Monday with a high-level Turkish delegation to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral educational cooperation.
The delegation included His Excellency Irfan Neziroğlu, the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan; Professor Dr. Mehmet Akif Kireççi, President of the ECO Education Institute; and Mr. Mehmet Toyran, Education Counsellor at the Turkish Embassy.
During the meeting, the Turkish representatives expressed their appreciation and support for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision for the future of education in Pakistan. Both sides discussed potential collaborations in education and vocational training, with a focus on strengthening institutional linkages and exchange programs between Pakistan and Turkey.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of both nations to fostering long-term educational partnerships and promoting people-to-people connections through academic and cultural exchange.
