Governor Punjab, Iranian Envoy Discuss Bilateral Cultural Cooperation

Lahore: Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at the Governor House Lahore. During the meeting, the Governor said that Pakistan and Iran share deep-rooted ties based on religion, culture, and history, which need further strengthening. He added that the installation of Ferdowsi’s statue at the Governor House would give a new dimension to bilateral cultural relations.

The Iranian Ambassador stated that installing the statue of Iran’s national poet Ferdowsi at the Governor House would further enhance the cultural ties between the two brotherly countries. On the occasion, Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahedfar and others were also present.

The event concluded with the unveiling of the statue of Iran’s national poet Ferdowsi at the Governor House.
