Pakistan Committed to Expanding Multifaceted Cooperation with Türkiye: Ishaq Dar

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday stressed the need to fast-track the implementation of agreed proposals and development projects under the Pakistan–Türkiye partnership, calling for timely action and greater inter-ministerial coordination.

Chairing a high-level meeting of the Committee on Enhancing Pakistan–Türkiye Bilateral Engagement, the deputy prime minister reviewed progress in multiple sectors, including economy, trade, industry, education, health, energy, defence, infrastructure, and connectivity, according to a statement from the DPM’s Office.

Senator Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong resolve to advance strategic cooperation with Türkiye, describing the relationship as a vital partnership between two brotherly nations. “It is imperative that we move swiftly to translate our commitments into tangible outcomes. Pakistan remains fully committed to expanding multifaceted cooperation with Türkiye for the mutual benefit of our two nations,” he stated.

The meeting was attended by the Foreign Secretary and Secretaries of the Economic Affairs Division, Health, Water Resources, Petroleum, and Power, along with senior officials from relevant ministries and departments.
