Bangladesh Army’s Quarter Master General Meets CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in Rawalpindi
Rawalpindi: Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, Quarter Master General of the Bangladesh Army, called on General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, both sides held wide-ranging discussions on the prevailing regional security environment and reiterated their shared commitment to strengthen defence and security cooperation.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza underlined the upward trajectory of Pakistan-Bangladesh relations and highlighted new avenues for collaboration in the defence sector.
Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and paid tribute to their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
The visit reflects the growing defence and security cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh, paving the way for enhanced military-to-military engagement۔
