Minister Shaza Fatima Arrives in Beijing to Represent Pakistan at High-Level Technology Engagements
BEIJING: State Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja arrived in Beijing on Tuesday to represent Pakistan in a series of high-level engagements aimed at deepening technological cooperation with China.
During the visit, the minister will highlight the Prime Minister’s Digital Pakistan Vision, presenting it as a framework for strengthening innovation, connectivity, and economic transformation through technology.
Shaza Fatima is leading a delegation comprising more than 50 Pakistani IT companies, reflecting Islamabad’s commitment to building stronger linkages between the private sector and international technology leaders. The delegation will engage with Chinese counterparts to explore avenues of cooperation in emerging technologies, with Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) set to be signed to formalize future collaboration.
From September 3 to 5, a series of business-to-business (B2B) meetings are scheduled with leading Chinese technology firms. These engagements are expected to expand Pakistan-China cooperation in digital innovation, investment, and joint ventures, further reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
