Palestinian Delegation Meets Ishaq Dar, Islamabad Calls for Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza
Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine, condemning Israeli war crimes and atrocities in the strongest terms. He declared that Pakistan will stand by the Palestinian struggle for freedom, dignity, and statehood until justice is achieved. Dar called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, along with unhindered humanitarian aid to the besieged people of Gaza.
The Deputy Prime Minister was speaking to a Palestinian delegation led by Adviser to the President and Supreme Judge Mahmoud Alhabash in Islamabad today. He reiterated Pakistan’s consistent support for an independent, sovereign, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine based on pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. Dar rejected Israeli aggression, genocide, forced displacement, illegal settlements, and annexations, stressing that accountability for war crimes is essential. He pledged Pakistan’s continued support for Palestinian brothers and sisters in their just struggle.
