Kazakhstan Deputy PM & FM Murat Nurtleu Arrives Pakistan Tomorrow for Two-Day Official Visit

Islamabad:  Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mr. Murat Nurtleu, arrives in Pakistan tomorrow (September 8) on a two-day official visit, paving the way for the forthcoming visit of the Kazakh President to Islamabad in November. The visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation, marks a significant step in strengthening Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations and advancing cooperation across multiple sectors.

Mr. Nurtleu will be leading a 13-member delegation, which includes Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport. On the sidelines of the visit, meetings of the Joint Working Groups on Agriculture and Information Technology will also be held to explore new areas of partnership.

During his stay, the Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will hold a tête-à-tête with Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, followed by delegation-level talks. He is also expected to call on the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The discussions will provide an opportunity to review preparations for the upcoming Presidential visit and to deliberate comprehensively on the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation — with particular focus on trade and investment, agriculture, education, cultural and tourism exchanges, regional connectivity, logistics, and collaboration at multilateral fora.

The visit is expected to further cement the longstanding Pakistan-Kazakhstan partnership and contribute to deepening engagements in diverse fields for the mutual benefit of both nations.
