Pakistan’s Deputy PM Ishaq Dar in New York to Attend UNGA High-Level Segment
New York: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday arrived in New York to attend the high-level segment of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The Pakistan delegation to the UNGA will be led by the Prime Minister.
Dar was received at the airport by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, and senior mission officials.
According to officials, the deputy prime minister will accompany the Prime Minister to several engagements, represent Pakistan at ministerial and high-level meetings, and hold over a dozen bilateral meetings with his counterparts.
