Attaullah Tarar Condemns Afghan ‘Aggression,’ Links Timing to Kabul FM’s India Visit

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Sunday strongly condemned what he described as Afghanistan’s “aggression” against Pakistan, calling it a “deliberately timed provocation” coinciding with the Afghan Foreign Minister’s visit to India.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Tarar said the Foreign Office had already issued a “clear and unequivocal stance” on the matter. He termed it a “notable and concerning fact” that the incident occurred “precisely at the time when the Afghan Foreign Minister is on a visit to India and anti-Pakistan statements are being given the form of joint declarations there.”

Calling the episode “regrettable and condemnable,” the minister said Pakistan would not tolerate actions that undermine its sovereignty or regional stability.
