Islamabad: The federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the Independence Day of Belarus symbolizes the strength and resilience of the Belarusian people in their journey towards sovereignty. This day exemplifies their rich history and cultural heritage, as well as their steadfast commitment to peace, progress, and prosperity.
Addressing the 80th Independence Day of Belarus, along with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergey Lukashevich and Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa, Minister Hussain highlighted Pakistan’s solidarity with Belarus. He extended warm congratulations to the Belarusian officials and the people of Belarus, celebrating this milestone in unity and friendship.
Minister Hussain stated that this year is significant as it marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Belarus. Over these three decades, bilateral relations have grown through mutual respect, cooperation, and shared interests. The recent 6th round of bilateral political consultations in Islamabad reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields.
Expressing confidence in the continued growth of friendship and cooperation, he highlighted the immense potential for expanding collaboration in trade, investment, technology, and people-to-people exchanges. He envisioned creating new opportunities for mutual benefit.
Tanveer Hussain reaffirmed the commitment to building stronger ties and seizing future opportunities. He wished Belarus continued success, peace, and prosperity.
