British High Commissioner announced £3 Million Emergency Aid for Pakistan Flood Relief

The British envoy expressed solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan

Islamabad: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott on Friday called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad and announced £3 million in emergency relief for Pakistan to help tackle the devastation caused by ongoing floods.

The British envoy expressed solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan, reaffirming the United Kingdom’s commitment to stand with Islamabad during the crisis. She also conveyed that further humanitarian assistance would follow.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar thanked the UK for its timely support and solidarity, terming it a reflection of close bilateral relations and shared concern for humanitarian needs.
