Tashkent: The first “Made in Pakistan” exhibition in Tashkent, held from June 28-30, was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Tashkent, with support from the Government of Uzbekistan.
The event was inaugurated by key officials, including Gulamov Shokhrukh Khasanovich, Deputy Minister of Industry, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Ahmed Farooq, Ambassador of Pakistan. Other prominent figures included Ahsan Ali Mangi, Federal Secretary of Commerce Pakistan, and Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.
Discussions between government representatives from both nations focused on promoting trade and enhancing economic ties. This exhibition serves as a significant platform for fostering closer collaboration and understanding between Pakistani and Uzbekistani businesses.
The initiative is part of Pakistan’s Regional Connectivity Policy, aimed at creating a conducive environment for businessmen from both countries to explore trade opportunities and forge lasting partnerships.
