China, Pakistan Reaffirmed All-Weather Strategic Partnership during a meeting between Ishaq Dar and Jiang Ziadong
Islamabad: China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday to reaffirm the Pak-China All-Weather Strategic Partnership and explore ways to strengthen their strategic ties further. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in elevating bilateral relations and regional development and discussed the progress of the CPEC 2.0.
Both leaders reviews the progress of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Phase 2.0, which termed a transformative initiative for enhancing economic collaboration and regional connectivity. Ambassador Jiang also extended an invitation from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi for Senator Dar to attend the High-Level United Security Councli Event “Practicing Multilateralism, Reforming and Improving Global Governance” hosted by China and to be held in New York on February 18, 2025. The deputy prime minister accepted the invitation, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to multilateral cooperation and shared global objectives.
