Deputy Head of Malaysian Mission,Mohd Syafik,Calls on BOI Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh
Islamabad: Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Deputy Head of Mission of Malaysia, paid a courtesy call on the Federal Minister for Board of Investment, His Excellency Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, at his office on 9 April 2025.
During the 30-minute meeting, the two sides held constructive discussions aimed at further enhancing bilateral trade and investment cooperation. A key highlight of the conversation was the potential expansion of collaboration in the importation of basmati rice from Pakistan, reflecting both countries’ shared interest in deepening economic engagement, particularly in the agricultural sector.
The meeting concluded on a positive and cordial note, reaffirming the commitment of both Malaysia and Pakistan to explore new avenues of collaboration and promote a robust, long-term economic partnership.
