Rawalpindi: Pakistan and Indonesia successfully concluded the joint military exercise, Elang Strike-II, at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi. The exercise, focused on counter-terrorism operations, marked the second such collaboration between the two nations, further strengthening their defence ties.
The week-long exercise, which began on 8 September 2024, aimed to enhance the exchange of counter-terrorism tactics and training methodologies between the two armies. The close cooperation between the Pakistani and Indonesian forces reflects the deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two countries.
At the closing ceremony, the General Officer Commanding 17 Division served as the Chief Guest, while Colonel Budi Wirman, Indonesia’s Defence Attaché, was also present. The troops demonstrated exceptional professional excellence throughout the exercise.
