Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Represents Pakistan at Global Cybersecurity Forum 2025 in Riyadh
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, is representing Pakistan at the Global Cybersecurity Forum 2025, being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
During the forum, the Minister will participate in the National Cybersecurity High-Level Roundtable Meeting, where she will deliver a keynote address on “Next Generation Cyber Resilience.”
Highlighting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Digital Nation Vision, Shaza Fatima emphasized that Pakistan’s digital transformation is firmly rooted in principles of security and resilience.
She noted that the establishment of the National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT), along with provincial and sectoral CERTs, is paving the way for a nationwide incident response system, enhancing the country’s capacity to counter emerging cyber threats.
The Minister further stated that Pakistan’s global standing has strengthened, as the country has been recognized as a Tier-1 role model nation in the Global Cybersecurity Index, reflecting significant progress in the cybersecurity domain.
