Foreign Ministers of Eight Muslim States including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Qatar Welcome Trump’s Peace Plan for Gaza
Islamabad: The Foreign Ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt have expressed strong support for U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s efforts to end the war in Gaza. In a joint statement, they commended his leadership and affirmed their confidence in his ability to pave the way for a lasting peace.
The ministers highlighted the importance of the partnership with the United States in securing regional stability. They welcomed President Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan aimed at ending the conflict, rebuilding Gaza, preventing the displacement of Palestinians, and promoting a broader peace framework. They also lauded his commitment to prevent the annexation of the West Bank.
Emphasizing constructive engagement, the ministers reaffirmed their readiness to work closely with the United States and all parties involved to finalize and implement the agreement. The goal, they said, is to ensure peace, security, and stability for all peoples in the region.
The statement further underscored a shared commitment to a comprehensive deal that guarantees unrestricted humanitarian aid to Gaza, the release of hostages, full Israeli withdrawal, and the reconstruction of Gaza. The ministers stressed that a just peace, based on the two-state solution and the full integration of Gaza with the West Bank under a Palestinian state, is essential for long-term regional security and stability.
