Govt to Send High-Level Delegation Led by Bilawal to Counter Indian Narrative

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday contacted formal Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in view of the ongoing regional crisis and directed him to lead a high-level diplomatic mission to key world capitals in a bid to expose Indian aggression on the international stage.

According to official sources, Bilawal will spearhead Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach with scheduled visits to Washington, London, Brussels, and Paris. The delegation aims to brief global leadership on the unfolding situation and seek support against what Islamabad terms as “unprovoked Indian hostilities.”

The high-powered delegation comprises Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, former Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani, and Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik.

In a parallel development, senior foreign affairs aide Tariq Fatemi will undertake a separate visit to Moscow to engage the Russian leadership on the evolving crisis and seek diplomatic backing.

The diplomatic push comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with Islamabad intensifying its efforts to mobilize global opinion against New Delhi’s actions.
