Islamabad: The soft launch of IDEAS 2024, conducted by Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, marks the beginning of preparations for this significant event, set to be held in Karachi this November. The Minister highlighted Pakistan’s growing defense industry, which not only fulfills the needs of the country’s armed forces but also holds the potential for competitive exports.
IDEAS has established itself as a premier platform for defense exhibitors, high-level delegations, and trade visitors from around the world. It fosters networking, understanding, and collaboration within the global defense industry, providing a space to explore affordable solutions for current challenges.
Director General of Defence Export Promotion Organization, Major General Asad Nawaz Khan, emphasized IDEAS’ role in promoting global peace, stability, and harmony. He also noted Pakistan’s potential to become a global hub for defense research, manufacturing, and joint ventures, further strengthening its defense capabilities and exports.
The Federal Minister expressed pride in the growing prominence of IDEAS over the past 24 years, underscoring its importance in the global defense sector. The upcoming 12th edition, managed by Badar Expo Solutions, is set to continue this tradition, drawing international attention to Pakistan’s defense industry.
IDEAS 2024, scheduled from November 19 to 22 in Karachi, promises to be a crucial event for the global defense community, showcasing Pakistan’s advancements and opportunities in the sector.
