Irani President Arrives in Islamabad,PM Shehbaz Welcomes Iranian President
Islamabad: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, arrived in Islamabad today on an official visit to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly received President Pezeshkian and his accompanying delegation at Islamabad International Airport.
The Iranian President is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, senior ministers, and top officials.
During his stay, President Pezeshkian is scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The visit will also feature high-level delegation-level talks between the two countries.
This marks President Pezeshkian’s first official visit to Pakistan since assuming office.
The visit is expected to further strengthen the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Iran.
