Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian Arrives in Pakistan on Two-Day Official Visit

Lahore:  President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, arrived in Pakistan on a two-day official visit. The Iranian President was warmly received at Lahore Airport by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif extended a warm handshake to the Iranian President upon his arrival, while Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz formally welcomed him to Lahore. The visiting dignitary expressed gratitude for the warm reception extended to him.

A bouquet of flowers was presented to President Pezeshkian upon his arrival, marking the start of his first official visit to Pakistan. A brief formal meeting was also held at the airport lounge between the Iranian President, Nawaz Sharif, and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Following the welcome, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif accompanied President Pezeshkian to the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal.

Also present at the airport to welcome the distinguished guest were Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, provincial ministers, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Inspector General of Police Usman Anwar, and other senior officials.
