Ishaq Dar Arrives in Kabul for 6th Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan

Kabul/Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar reached Kabul on Wednesday to attend the 6th Trilateral Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan.

Upon arrival, the DPM/FM was warmly received by Afghanistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Chief of State Protocol Faisal Jalali, Director General First Political MoFA Kabul Mufti Noor Ahmad, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani.

The trilateral talks will focus on strengthening cooperation in key areas including trade, regional connectivity, and joint efforts in counter-terrorism. The meeting is aimed at enhancing regional peace, stability, and economic integration among the three neighboring countries.

On the sidelines of the trilateral dialogue, Senator Ishaq Dar will also hold a bilateral meeting with the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan to discuss matters of mutual interest and ways to further deepen Pakistan-Afghanistan relations.
