Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held delegation-level talks with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov today in Islamabad. They reviewed progress on bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and global developments.
The two sides expressed strong commitment and resolve to further strengthen bilateral strategic relations and broaden the scope of cooperation in all areas of interest, including trade, investment, energy, defence, education, climate action, and regional connectivity.
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit, where he was warmly received by Additional Foreign Secretary Ahmed Naseem Warraich at the Islamabad International Airport. During his visit, Bayramov is scheduled to hold important meetings with key Pakistani officials, including Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to discuss bilateral relations and regional matters of mutual interest.
