Jamaat-e-Islami Organizes International Palestine Conference in Islamabad: Asif Luqman

Islamabad: The International Palestine Conference is set to take place in Islamabad on February 15-16, bringing together international and national leaders, media professionals, and activists in support of Gaza and Palestine.

Director of Foreign Affairs of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Asif Luqman Qazi, announced that the two-day event will feature multiple sessions, including international, national, youth, prime media, and digital media discussions. The opening session of the conference will be chaired by Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Ayaz Sadiq, with keynote addresses from Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ameerul Azim, Dr. Ashraf Awad, and Hafiz Uzair Ali Khan. A Prime Media Session, presided over by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Vice Ameer, Liaqat Baloch, will feature discussions from senior national and international journalists, analysts, and anchorpersons. The day will conclude with an International Session, chaired by Asif Luqman Qazi, where delegates from Malaysia, Iran, South Africa, Türkiye, Jordan, and Mauritania will share their insights on the Palestine issue.

On the second day, the International Session will be led by former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Masood Ahmed Khan, with delegates from the United States, Palestine, the United Kingdom, Syria, Dominica, Gaza, and Iraq addressing the gathering. The National Session will be chaired by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, with participation from prominent figures including Ameerul Azim, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Senator Ali Zafar, Senator Raza Rabbani, Senator Raja Abbas Nasir Jafari, and former Senator Javed Jabbar. A Digital Media Session will also be held, featuring Shoaib Hashmi and other experts, focusing on the role of digital platforms in shaping narratives on Palestine.

The conference is expected to serve as a platform for global solidarity, discussion on policy frameworks, and strategies to support the Palestinian cause.
