In a meeting with Shahzad Salamino, Vice President of the Tajikistan football club in Dushanbe, the Governor underscored the importance of sports and playgrounds for improving mental health and societal harmony in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He detailed the concrete measures being taken by the Governor House to support these initiatives.
Football, being a popular sport in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was a significant topic of discussion. The Governor explored the possibility of establishing joint football academies and enhancing efforts to promote the sport in both Pakistan and Tajikistan.
Governor Kundi extended an invitation to Shahzad Salamino to visit Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Salamino, in turn, presented the Governor with a club shirt as a gift and accepted the invitation, marking a step forward in fostering sports diplomacy between the two regions.
