Islamabad: Pakistan Navy Ship HUNAIN, on its maiden voyage from Romania to Pakistan, made a significant stop at Salalah, Oman, where it participated in a bilateral exercise with the Royal Navy of Oman. The ship was warmly received by Omani naval officers, and during its stay, various bilateral activities and exchange visits were conducted to foster professional knowledge and experience sharing.
The sea exercise between PNS HUNAIN and RNOV SADH further enhanced the interoperability between the two navies, reinforcing the strong maritime ties between Pakistan and Oman. These engagements, including frequent port calls and joint exercises, continue to be a cornerstone of the maritime cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

PNS HUNAIN is the third of four YARMOOK class ships being constructed at DAMEN Naval Shipyard in Romania, with its induction ceremony scheduled for September 6 at Naval Dockyard. The President of Pakistan is expected to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, marking a significant milestone for the Pakistan Navy.
