Pakistan, China Agree to Enhance Intelligence Sharing and Security Cooperation

BEIJING: Pakistan and China have agreed to further strengthen intelligence sharing and enhance security cooperation between the two countries.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Chinese counterpart Qi Yanjun in Beijing.
Both sides decided to bolster collaboration between the Beijing Police and Islamabad Police to improve law enforcement coordination. Interior Minister Naqvi also announced that Pakistan would procure modern technology and equipment from China to upgrade its police force.
During the meeting, discussions were also held on enhancing border security measures to ensure greater stability and safety in the region.
