New Delhi: The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has granted 87 visas to Indian Hindu pilgrims to visit Pakistan for the 316th birth anniversary celebrations of Shiv Avtari Stguru Sant Shadaram Sahib. The festivities will be held at Shadani Darbar in Hayat Pitafi, Sindh, from November 24 to December 4, the High Commission announced in a press release on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Charge d’Affaires Saad Ahmad Warraich extended his best wishes to the pilgrims for a fulfilling and spiritually enriching journey. He emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to promoting interfaith harmony and cultural exchange between the two nations.
The Charge d’Affaires further reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to preserving sacred religious sites and facilitating visiting pilgrims. He underscored that such initiatives reflect Pakistan’s efforts to uphold its heritage of diversity and religious inclusion.
The issuance of visas aligns with Pakistan’s policy of ensuring the promotion of people-to-people contact and fostering goodwill between the two neighboring countries. The annual pilgrimage is a symbol of shared respect for religious traditions across borders.
