Islamabad : The recent meeting between Y.Kistafin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, and Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, marked a significant step towards enhancing educational cooperation between the two nations. Emphasizing the importance of this sector, the Ambassador discussed measures to facilitate interaction between higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
Dr. Ahmed outlined the Pakistani government’s policy focused on enhancing the quality of higher education and fostering international collaborations. He emphasized that such partnerships could lead to joint research initiatives, elevating the scientific endeavors of both countries.
An invitation was extended by Y.Kistafin for Pakistani educational leaders to visit Kazakhstan to engage with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and local institutions. This visit aims to create a conducive environment for collaboration and identify key areas for joint efforts.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to arrange future negotiations between Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission and Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This agreement is expected to pave the way for deeper and more productive educational ties between the two countries.
