Pakistan Mobilizes Aid for Survivors of Morocco Boat Incident
Islamabad: The foreign office confirmed the 21 Pakistani nationals have been identified among the survivors of a maritime incident near Dakhla, Morocco. The Embassy has provided essential necessities, including food, water, medicine, and clothing, while local authorities in Dakhla are providing the shelter and medical care due to the diplomatic outreach.
According to the press release of foreign office , a consular team from the Embassy is currently present in Dakhla to oversee relief efforts and maintain coordination with local authorities. The government remains in close contact with Moroccan officials to ensure the well-being of the affected citizens and expedite repatriation procedures. “We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of overseas Pakistanis and will continue to monitor the situation closely,” the Foreign Office Spokesperson stated.
