Pakistan Offers Fast-Track Visas to Bahraini Investors, Strengthens Bilateral Relations
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday offered fast track visa facilities for Bahraini investors and bussiness persons. He also underscored Pakistan’s eagerness to strengthen cooperation with Bahrain in trade, investment, and other key sectors. He highlighted the vital role of nearly 120,000 Pakistanis living in Bahrain, who contribute significantly to the development of both nations. . He invited Bahrain to explore opportunities in multiple sectors, emphasizing Pakistan’s readiness to provide maximum support to investors.
The remarks were made during a meeting at the PM House with Bahrain’s Interior Minister General Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. Prime Minister Sharif described Pakistan-Bahrain relations as deep fraternal ties that continue to grow over time. He also highlighted the role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council in promoting investment and assured Bahrain of full cooperation.
In addition, the prime minister offered training opportunities for Bahraini police personnel at Pakistan’s National Police Academy in Islamabad. General Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality during his visit.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and other senior officials.
