Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to peace and its status as a responsible nuclear state during the launch of a report on National Security and Foreign Policy in Islamabad. He reiterated Pakistan’s desire to strengthen relationships with neighboring countries.
Regarding the economy, Tarar highlighted that economic security is a top government priority. He noted that 68 percent of Pakistan’s population is young, and the government is focusing on their technical training and skill development, adopting the slogan “trade not aid.”
Tarar also pointed out that Pakistan is a significant market for information technology, with IT exports on the rise. Additionally, he mentioned the launch of two Safe City projects in Pakistan by the Chinese tech company Huawei.
