Islamabad : Pakistan and the United Kingdom have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation and address shared challenges posed by climate change. The understanding was reached during a meeting between British Under-Secretary of State Hamish Falconer and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to strengthen ties in various domains. Discussions highlighted climate resilience and sustainable development as key areas for future cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering its traditionally cordial relationship with the UK. Both leaders expressed confidence in building on the strong foundation of their partnership to achieve shared goals.
