Dubai: Pakistan Consul General Hussain Muhammad lauded the transformative journey of “Pakistanis in Dubai” (PID) from a modest social media platform into a dynamic community hub uniting the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE. Addressing the “PID Business Summit” in Ajman, he celebrated the milestone of 200,000 members and commended the platform’s administrators for their unwavering commitment.
In his address, the consul general proposed creating a data bank of the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE to foster deeper engagement and enhance collaboration among the community. He emphasized the importance of leveraging the diaspora’s strengths for mutual growth and progress.
Acknowledging the significant contributions of the Pakistani community to the UAE’s economy, culture, and social harmony, Hussain underscored the importance of initiatives like the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah. He highlighted its potential in promoting economic collaboration and strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
Expressing gratitude to the UAE leadership for their support, Hussain reaffirmed the need for Pakistanis in the UAE to continue playing a vital role in the host country’s development. He praised the UAE’s business-friendly policies and inclusive environment, which have facilitated the community’s success.
The consul general concluded by urging the diaspora to work collectively, uplift each other, and showcase the best of Pakistan on the global stage. He reiterated the collective responsibility of the community to foster unity and further enhance the historic bond between Pakistan and the UAE.
