Islamabad :The Prime Minister of Belarus, His Excellency Roman Golovchenko, met with General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan during his official visit to Islamabad.
Discussions during the meeting revolved around regional dynamics, with a focus on strengthening bilateral security and defence cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus.
General Syed Asim Munir expressed Pakistan’s appreciation for Belarus’s contributions to global and regional stability and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to deepening military ties.
Prime Minister Golovchenko commended the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their crucial role in promoting peace and stability in the region, particularly their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to enhance defence collaboration and contribute to peace efforts regionally and internationally.
