PM Shehbaz Arrives in Baku to Attend Azerbaijan’s Victory Day Celebrations
BAKU: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday arrived in Baku to attend the Victory Day celebrations of Azerbaijan at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar is accompanying the Prime Minister during the visit.
Upon arrival at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Prime Minister Shehbaz was received by Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, First Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Razayev, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin, and members of the diplomatic staff.
During his stay, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with President Ilham Aliyev to review the state of Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations and discuss ways to further enhance cooperation in diverse fields.
