PM Shehbaz Arrives in Riyadh to Attend Future Investment Initiative Conference

Riyadh : Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on Monday to attend the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference, a flagship global forum bringing together world leaders, investors, and policymakers.

He was received at King Khalid International Airport by Deputy Governor of Riyadh Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal bin Saqib.

During his stay, the Prime Minister will represent Pakistan at the FII Conference and is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and manpower. Regional and international issues of mutual concern are also expected to come under discussion.

The Prime Minister will also hold meetings with global leaders and heads of international organizations participating in the high-profile investment forum.
