PM Shehbaz Sharif Departs for Riyadh to Attend 9th Future Investment Initiative 2025

Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday departed for Riyadh to attend the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference on the special invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

A high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal bin Saqib, is accompanying the prime minister.

The conference, taking place in the Saudi capital, will bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and prominent figures from diverse sectors. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will represent Pakistan and participate in discussions focused on sustainable development, economic inclusion, innovation, and evolving global geopolitics.

During the visit, the prime minister is also scheduled to hold meetings with the Saudi leadership to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and the labour sector.

He will further engage with world leaders and heads of international organizations attending the FII to explore opportunities for investment and sustainable development in Pakistan.
