Riyadh: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Investment Minister Engr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Mr. Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor to the Royal Court, on the sidelines of the Arab Islamic Summit to discuss avenues for deepening economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The high-level meeting underscored both nations’ commitment to advancing their economic partnership.
During the discussion, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress on key projects under consideration and commended the efforts of technical teams from both sides for their dedication to ensuring successful collaboration in multiple sectors. He highlighted Pakistan’s interest in bolstering investment ties and explored opportunities for further cooperation in areas critical to both economies.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently visiting Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab Islamic Summit in Riyadh, which serves as a platform for addressing shared challenges and enhancing partnerships within the Arab and Islamic world.
