The newly commissioned Pakistan Navy Ship HUNAIN visited Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, during its maiden voyage from Romania to Pakistan, where it participated in a bilateral exercise with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). Upon its arrival at Jeddah port, the ship was warmly received by senior RSNF officials and representatives from the Pakistan Embassy.
During its stay, the Commanding Officer of PNS HUNAIN met with key RSNF leaders, including the Western Fleet Commander and the Commander of King Faisal Naval Base. These meetings focused on discussing mutual interests and enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two navies.
Following the port visit, PNS HUNAIN conducted a Passage Exercise with HMS AL RIYADH of the RSNF, where both navies rehearsed various joint maritime drills and operations. This exercise was aimed at improving interoperability between the two naval forces.
The visit and the joint exercise provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the existing brotherly relations and defense collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Such engagements are crucial for deepening military ties and ensuring regional maritime security.
PNS HUNAIN’s visit to Jeddah and its participation in the bilateral exercise marked a significant step in bolstering the strategic partnership between the two nations’ navies.
