Emphasis was placed on promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in key sectors such as agriculture, food security, business, education, railways, science and technology, and people-to-people contacts.
“There is a need to enhance connectivity between Pakistan and Russia and explore the option of barter trade,” stated the President of Pakistan.
“There must be increased connections between the peoples and business sectors of both countries,” added the President.
Easing visa regulations and introducing direct flights and railway links can enhance Pakistan-Russia relations, the President highlighted.
The meeting also discussed boosting bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
There are vast opportunities for joint ventures between Pakistan and Russia in the agricultural field.
To enhance trade and economic cooperation, a 75-member Pakistani trade delegation will visit Russia in October.
Russia is keen on improving cooperation with Pakistan in food security, science and technology, education, connectivity, and railways, stated the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

“Russia deeply respects all religions and Muslim culture,” affirmed the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.
