President Zardari, President Xi Reaffirm Pakistan-China Strategic Ties
BEIJING: President Asif Ali Zardari met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing today, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership with China. The two leaders discussed the strong trajectory of bilateral relations and explored ways to further deepen economic cooperation. They also emphasized the importance of continuing their longstanding tradition of mutual support in both prosperous and challenging times.
President Zardari hailed President Xi as a great friend of Pakistan and paid tribute to his visionary leadership, which has played a pivotal role in the establishment and success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
